Richard Katz, owner and operator of Stripper Wallpaper Service was literally born into the wallcovering industry. As a youth, Richard worked in his parents retail paint and wallcovering store in Los Alamitos, California. At a very young age, Richard realized the need for this specialized service. Having first hand experience listening to customers and contractors alike tell horror stories spending entire weekends attempting to remove that old avocado green flocked wallpaper from their home. This need was the impetus of a thriving service business for this young entrepreneur.

With this idea in mind, and a customer base to attract, Richard started his new venture on evenings and weekends for extra spending money. At the time, the possibility of a full-time business was never even considered.

Today, Stripper Wallpaper Service has grown into a lucrative company serving most of California with a number of service vehicles and a trained staff of professionals.
